A family-led foundation supporting the organizations that matter most to the people in our family and communities.
Founded by Norton and Barbara Peck, the foundation brings together four generations of family members who work together each year to support nonprofits doing meaningful work across the country.
A Tradition of Family Giving
The Peck Family Foundation began with a simple idea: bring the family together to give back.
After the sale of Pacific Metal Company, Norton and Barbara Peck encouraged their children to set aside a portion of the proceeds to create a shared family fund dedicated to charitable giving. Their hope was that the foundation would not only support meaningful causes, but also pass along a sense of responsibility, generosity, and connection across generations.
More than 25 years later, the foundation continues to grow. Today, family members from across the country gather each year to share the organizations they care about and decide together how the foundation can help.

Causes We Support
Each year, family members bring forward organizations that matter to them personally. The result is a wide range of causes supported across communities and regions, including:

More Than a Foundation
The annual Peck Family Foundation meeting is where proposals are shared, grants are discussed, and decisions are made together.
It’s also a chance for family members from across the country to reconnect, meet new babies and cousins, and spend time together continuing the tradition that Norton and Barbara began.
